Preview: GoPro Hero Cam (WIDE)
Just a quick preview post about GoPro’s Hero Cam Wide. I haven’t gotten a chance to play with it too much, but used it briefly as a walk-cam, friend-cam, cat-cam and of course a bicycle-cam. I’ve been researching different small video cameras to bring on The Big Trip to document our trip and this was one of them. More thoughts on it in a later post after some more use.

I also just thought of buying one of this toys. The first test footage looks quite interesting. I like the idea of a small wide angle cam, which I could snap on my bike, my motorcycle, behind the windscreen of our campervan, a canoe, below a kite or …..
But mostly I would use it for cycling. Esp here in Shanghai sooo much to see and difficult to capture with one hand on the bike and one hand on the photo. Need to get one of these….
